Tour

As of March, Landon started on tour with an artist named Matthew Mayfield. They have traveled all over the southeast and will possibly be heading North this summer. It's been a great adventure for my sweet husband. I am so glad he has an outlet to use his skills as a drummer. I am so proud of him. Although we miss him a lot, the tour is not forever and we'll get to spend time with our precious daddy/man soon!!

New Words

Here is one of our new favorite words to say.. I know you'll want to replay this a few times.

Uncle Justin

So in March we had a special visitor come down to ol' Birmingham, Alabama to see us.. (well to see my amazingly talented husband), but none the less he was able to see us as well! Uncle Justin came to work on a record called M28 project. It's a pretty amazing album with some original worship tunes and some others you have already heard. We were so excited to see Uncle JJ, including Skylar. We had a great time catching up while they worked hard. Some say Skylar looks like Justin when he was little.. you guys who knew Justie when he was younger can be the judge:

Catch up time

so while we were away we had lots going on.. including sickness. Poor Skylar has had a terrible time with ear infections, (which landed us in the ER 3 times). It was cool to really trust in the Lord during those times and just meditate on James 1.. "count it all joy my brothers when you meet trials of various kinds for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness, and let steadfastness have it's full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"...How beautiful are those words. Thank you Lord for those treasures, those truths The Lord is making us more like him during trials, WOW Thank you Jesus! We are now happy to say he is healthy and hasn't had an ear infection in 3 weeks! woohoo! that's some kind of record for little man. Here's some pictures from our adventures with Ear Infections:
blood in the ears.. ick ick

Out of the LOOP

So we've been out of the blogging LOOP but we're back! yay! I guess where we left off was in November.. and guess what? Skylar turned 1! We had a big celebration over Thanksgiving with Family (since his birthday is a few days before). Skylar has become quite the little man. He has such a sweet personality. He's so funny, tough and really smart. He loves to laugh, dance & play drums. He constantly claps for himself and makes sure you clap for him as well! I love that the Lord gave us little Skylar. I pray he'll grow into a man who seeks after God's heart, who loves the things the Lord loves. I hope he rises up as a Godly leader. Thank you Jesus for our little Skylar Danger. Thank you for The year you have given us with him!
